Spatial Plans and Local Agreements for Small Hydro

This project, a merger between two proposals to the European Commission, is preparing spatial plans in France, Greece, Ireland, Poland and Portugal which will provide greater certainty for the developer seeking to develop small hydro projects. In most partners a series of preferred sites will be identified.

Energie-Cités is preparing a best practice case study, a study of recent developments in small hydro affecting plan preparation, and is advising the partners on their methodology.
