The conference will be a high profile event outlining the project’s achievemets. It will be open to all key actors in sustainable energy communities. All partners within the project will be invited to discuss the Eco n’Home ’experience’ and ’process’.

Covenant of Mayors - How to finance it
20-21th November 2008, Helsinki (FI)
The City of Helsinki invites all interested parties to a preparatory conference "Covenant of Mayors - How to finance it".

The conference, at which Energie-Cités will be present, will therefore present and discuss the most relevant instruments at the disposal of the EU institutions: How do those instruments fit the needs of the cities? How can we improve them or propose new financial instruments suiting the requirements of the cities committed to tackle climate change mitigation? Besides financial issues, the event is an excellent opportunity - and in fact the only occasion before the first signature ceremony in February during the EUSEW - to discuss further practical aspects of Covenant implementation.
