- A Bachelor or Masters Degree in: urban environment, urban studies, sustainable energy, information management, communication
- Good knowledge of / strong interest in energy efficiency, RES and sustainable development issues
- Languages: excellent command of English (compulsory), good command of other languages (desirable)

| Job tasks for the Internship | The intern will
- Conduct research and collect information on the good practice of Energie-Cités’ member cities
- Organise the information provided by the Energie-Cités’ member cities and/or already existing from current Energie-Cités’ campaigns and projects according to a predefined template
- Regularly contact Energie-Cités’ member cities (by e-mail and telephone especially)
- Assist Energie-Cités’ member cities in presenting their good practice according to the predefined template
- Update the existing Energie-Cités’ slide show with the new information collected
- Update Energie-Cités’ good practice database and web-based information

- Excellent research and organisational skills
- Strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong interest in the field of energy efficiency, RES and sustainable development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

| Job Tasks for the Internship | The intern will:
- Collect informations at the European level in the field of sustainable mobility (European Environment Agency, Eurostat, etc.)
- Collect informations from the European cities and towns participating to the European Mobility Week (pictures, experiences, etc.)
- Rewrite the "Citizens" section dedicated to the public with a view to modernize it and make it more attractive
- ensure the implementation of the French translation in cooperation with a translator

- be studying at post first degree level or have professional experience in the following field(s): marketing, sales, communication
- have expertise / be highly motivated in the field of energy saving and the environment
- speak several languages. English is a compulsory requirement (level 1 or 2)
(1 = excellent, 2 = good, 3 = average)

| Skills needed | Reporting to the Communication Officer, the trainee will work mainly on promoting the exhibition i.e.
- preparing elements of the marketing mix
- setting up and monitoring planned events included in the marketing plan
- selling the exhibition to local authorities or other interested organisations
- ensuring customer relations

- Specialisation: energy management, environment
- Languages: English: excellent command
- French: basic knowledge
- 3rd language desirable

| Internship’s description | The applicant will:
- Assist the project manager in the coordination of the cities’ activities
- develop and update information documents (brochures, website)
- organisation of information events in the participating cities
- writing of case studies on outstanding cities
- contacting partner cities all over Europe
